Hand washable at 30 degrees.

• In Finland, there is a legend about these socks. At the beginning of the Winter War, trains were carrying people fleeing from bombings deeper into the country. In one such train, there was a mother with a baby who had very few belongings. At some point, the train stopped near a station due to damaged tracks and urgent repairs. There was an elderly woman at the station who was knitting a sweater for herself from pure white yarn. Seeing the freezing mother and baby waiting for the journey to continue, she quickly unraveled the sweater and started knitting socks for the baby. She managed to knit one sock, but the train was ready to resume its journey. So she gave the remaining yarn and knitting needles to the baby's mother and asked her to finish knitting the socks herself, requesting that she not change the pattern. The mother and the baby were eventually saved from the war, and for the rest of her life, the mother knitted such socks and gave them to those in need.
